Remember that you’re not simply in the Sanggunian to serve. This so-called “servant leadership” is value-neutral if it fails to ground itself on the questioning of whether or not this kind of service is even right. There is a danger to simply going with “what works,” if its indirect consequence on leaders is the gradual loss of their ability for critical thought. Revel in the challenges to status quo. Never forget the necessity for disturbance…And the questioning of the Normal.

With everything around you happening before your eyes, I ask you: what are you doing, what are you thinking of, where are you going?
